In early-2010 the iconic Pontiac brand from General Motors got discontinued. The 2008 financial crisis didn't do any good to the American Goliath. The last car to ever be produced by Pontiac was the G6. Nothing fancy. However, back in the days, it used to produce some of the most amazing cars. Bonneville, Grand Prix, Le Mans, Trans Am, Firebird are all great cars that were once the pride of the brand. But today, we review one of the most famous of them all, the mighty GTO. The Pontiac GTO is an American sports car that was first created in 1964 as an option package for the Tempest. Only in 1966 it became its own brand. It was available as a coupe, hardtop or convertible, like this one. Only about 9'500 cabriolets were ever produced and it was one of the finest, coolest and aesthetically appealing muscle cars one could get. No wonder that it reached the status of collectible.
